The Internet and Share Stock Market Manipulation through ramping and financial mind tricks?.

The Internet and Share Stock Market Manipulation through ramping and financial mind tricks?.

I would just like to say that the internet is a very powerful tool regarding share prices and the powers that be who control the markets understand this and may be using derampers to manipulate the share price of certain companies.Likewise some individuals might be doing it for their own gain. Many derampers use many names and operate on different message boards...so please be on your guard.
Good luck and power to the small investor! and the truth always comes out in the end.

though deramping creates fear and is negative. ramping or as i call it giving positive advice creates optimism and hope for the future. big difference. though how different really a honest share market would be much nicer, does the share market have any opportunity to be honest though?.

Ramping really is not something that any of us should support in share trading- and indeed if we do, we deserve to lose the shirt off our backs! really as it is a lie, though honest ramping when a share is going to do well is fair enough, but what about when people ramp shares up that are not going to do well?.

On the issue of so called 'ramping', learning about ramping is about one of the most useful things you can do. Whether its a mate in the pub, an article in the papers, a tip sheet or an internet post, learning to spot a ramp for what it is, is the only way to be able to protect yourself from being taken in or being 'overly influenced'.

Most people actively enjoy reading ramps, while many more people don't, at least There should be a happy medium at worst, at best no false share ramping at all, in a ideal world i guess.

i got took in in the past to buy really bad shares due to people ramping them up and then i lost lots of money, so beware that people lie on the internet and say something is doing financially well when in fact it is not doing well at all, you have to be able to spot the difference between a ramp and real god advice which can be very tricky thing to do, especially in this economic climate you cannot make any mistakes if considering investing due to how dodgy and unpredictable the financial markets are, shares are not really going up much at all and more then likely keep going down more then anything.

When I started investing I was the victim of a ramp which cost me £2000, since that point in time I have never daytraded and always hold stocks that I have researched for the medium to long term. This has paid off look at online and dialog as a prime example.

what is a ramp stock market manipulation theory and evidence?

A ramp is an attempt to raise a share price of a company by the dissemination of fact or rumour or fabrication. This is normally undertaken by people holding the share.

Ramp, suggests pushing something up and is the sport of many inside and outside of the city, be it through word of mouth and other such channels. This tradition has spread readily to the internet.

Many 'rampers' are well meaning, some not so, sometimes accurate, but often woefully misinformed, simply wrong and often irresponsible.

This is why many people are annoyed by 'rampers.' Personally I think its important and valuable to learn to spot rampers and they are at work in many more places than just the net.
